Vertical Hot Forging

The most important worldwide forging industries of steel, aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, special alloys. Sturdiness and reliability, high blow energy, precision and repeatability are outstanding features making them fit also for forging difficult pieces in a simple and economic way.

Screw presses with direct drive, characterized by a motor coupled to the screw.  The constructive sturdiness associated with a direct energy transmission chain and latest generation electronics allows to obtain maximum strike precision and stroke repeatability. Preloaded structure, elongated and closed ring-shaped ram and optimal guiding of the same are characteristics that make these presses ideal for moulding also parts in special alloys, with complex geometry and in several passages, with single or multiple cavity moulds (are allowed loads off canter). Ease of use thanks to a clear and user-friendly electronic device, which allows a quick setting of the working parameters of the press. The structure with a larger table allows the housing of particular tools (boring or bell) for the production of the perforated. VACCARI is able to study and provide integrated solutions with manipulators, feeders, transfers and robots, which allow the automation of industrial processes related to moulding, coining and calibration.

Horizontal Hot Forging

The forging machine has 3 stations that turn and move the blank from one station to another. For short batches, the machine can work with just one die at slower speeds. The chamfered and extruded bars are fed into a die by a pneumatic piston. Then, the dial index brings the parts to the first forging station, which upsets the parts and breaks the scale. Then the blank is indexed to the second station, where the hex is formed in a slide closed die. After heading the parts are indexed to the ejection position, where they are ejected to a conveyor which takes them out of the machine area. The machine is supplied with a spray system for cooling and lubricating the die and punch.
